- Calbee Japan has made great efforts to produce natural low
calorie snacks and potato chips.
- It is not new inventions they are using. It is a little
bit of care. Slightly smaller packs, slightly less oil, raised snacks with air
bubbles in them, vegetable crisps, and other small details, when combined,
give calories almost 1/2 of other brands! This is a tremendous reduction!

conforming to portion
He obeys the portion size in front. He is under the control of the
portion. He can be controlled through that. That is a weakness he has.
Example: One eats the whole pack, so one buys smaller packs. Another example:
If a portion was not sufficient, one goes and gets one more portion, and then
eats all of that also. So one better gets portions close to enough. Another
example: If it is available at home, he eats it, if it is not there, he does
not think much about it. So one does keep too much stuff at home.

There are now food around which are delicious and low calories, at
the same time. One can eat much, enjoy
oneself and still take low calories. Such food are around. I am not talking
about eating raw vegetables. I am not talking about special diet food. I am
talking about cheese, potato chips and chocolate cakes, all with low calories.

In most people, there is a feeling, an expectation, that when they
are walking in the supermarket, they walk in the middle of products produced
by companies which love you and which are full of care and responsibility
about you. It is a kind of trust, a kind of group feeling. It is deep inside.
"Those guys cannot be so cruel that they produce things which make people
terribly fat and unhappy." They do produce such stuff. And they sell them with
pride. Most food producers betray your group feeling on that point. Most. Do you realize that
they do not care about it? This means you need to realize you are not safe
with them, and then you need to step in and handle your calories yourself.
I am waiting for the diet bread, diet cheese, diet margarine. Real low
calories, real diet, not just slightly low. Just the way there is diet coke,
there should have been a diet bread! This would be a turning point in the kg
history of humanity. But they must be safe, they must be of multiple types and
of multiple companies to reduce the risk of any side effects of consuming them
much. One would obviously consume them much, one eats 3 times a day! So they
must be suitable for that.
